The Computer Center at Al-Nahrain University, in cooperation with INSS , organized an awareness workshop titled “Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances,” attended by a number of staff members and researchers from across the university’s various colleges and departments.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness and promote prevention regarding the effects of drugs and psychotropic substances and the danger they pose to individuals and society. It also reviewed the latest technical and professional methods and tools for preventing their use and limiting their spread.
The workshop reflects the university’s commitment to expanding cooperation and integration with security and specialized agencies, contributing to the building of comprehensive societal and educational immunity that protects the university environment. It was held under the slogan “Together Towards a Safe and Drug-Free Society.”
